Just had to say that.
Clay is home, and doing well. He scared me many times with the amount of pain he has been in for the past few days - especially when he was in the hospital. But praise God, he is getting stronger and feeling a little less pain. It is the worst when he's laying down or getting up or down. Of course there is no bending or lifting. He's actually feeling a little restless - already! I reminded him that the doctor said the biggest chance of the disk re-rupturing is in the first week. In order to operate on a ruptured disc, the doctor has to enter/"nick" a sac that covers the disc and said that there is no way to sew it back up. He said it would be like sewing a wet paper towel, and it just has to heal in a few weeks.
Today is a cool, windy, sunny, beautiful day - after having days of lots of rain and lightening and thunderstorms. All of the windows are open, and there is a breeze blowing the curtains all around. It feels wonderful.
Thanks to everyone who has been praying for Clay's recovery. Prayers are being answered!
