The One Thing

One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house
of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of
the LORD
and to seek Him in His temple.

Psalm 27: 4


I love this scripture. Of all the things that crowd my day - activities, cooking, cleaning, playing with the kids, worrying, running errands, etc, I pray that above all things, my goal would be to seek God.

To look for Him throughout my day - to see what He is doing in my life. I don't want to miss Him or any opportunity He sends my way.

My hearts desire is to be faithful to Him, and put knowing Him above all else.
