When he says, out of the blue, "Mom, when you were getting married, were you crying because you didn't have any kids yet?"
I smiled. "Well, no, I wasn't crying when I got married, because you have kids after you get married, so it was okay. But after I got married, there was a time I was crying because I didn't have any kids."
Joshua: "Were you crying because you couldn't find me? Was I just hiding in the closet?"
Me, gushing-laughing, "No silly, you were hiding in my belly! You weren't born yet (a long way from it!)."
