Go Figure!

We've been in a drought here for at least 3 weeks or so. I've been watering the grass and putting out the sprinklers.
Now, I'm planning a birthday party here next weekend. And guess what? Everyday this coming week - including Saturday (the day of the party), it is supposed to rain!
Now, don't get me wrong, I do love rainy, cozy days at home. However, this week I have lots of errands to run, getting everything ready. And I don't think anyone wants rain on their party day, what with everyone traveling some distance to get here. Never mind the mess the back yard will be in - no playing on the trampoline for the kiddos!
Hey - maybe the weather people will be wrong! I can hope.
