Then there are moments in life... That come quickly as a shock. You didn't see them coming at all. And you just feel ill. And heavy with fear. And how will this play out? What will be its end? And the full feeling of the moment is of despair... And I feel I have not the courage I need to live these moments out.
And I breathe. And I breathe. Slow and deep. Again and again. And moments pass... And in the doubling of moments that we all endure, the clock ticking on, a glimmer of brilliant light appears first as a sliver.
And I ache for it to be more, but the sliver is as it is, it is hope. I will take it.
And I pray it opens wide, shines, becomes, full... Or else, the fear is, that I will open wide.
